Materials Policy
Regulated materials & shipping restrictions.
Vintage and custom cues frequently contain materials that are subject to federal and state regulation. High Run requires sellers to disclose these materials at submission and publishes the disclosure on every lot page.
Elephant ivory
Cues containing elephant ivory are subject to the U.S. Endangered Species Act and state-level restrictions. High Run will not ship elephant-ivory cues across state lines without documentation of pre-1976 origin. Some states prohibit intrastate sale entirely. International shipping is prohibited.
Mammoth, walrus, and bone
Generally legal, but disclosed on the lot page.
CITES-restricted woods
Including certain rosewoods. International shipping is prohibited without verified CITES paperwork.
Tortoise shell
Subject to federal and state restrictions. Disclosed and reviewed on a per-lot basis.
